Where to begin, our family life is 2 separated families together me and my son whom lives with me and my partner and then my partner has his kids who stay every weekend. I have had many issues with my sons dad custody battle, domestic violence etc. It has taken us 3 years to actually be able to communicate and now get on amicably. But now we are at this level my partner hates it, my ex said really crappy things about him to chd services through the battle which none were true. Anyway long story sort me and my sons dad have agreed to sort swimming lessons he goes with me one week him the other at the same place but the issue is the other children, while I sorted my son out I also tired to sort out his two to do the same saturday all together and the week my son goes to his dads they do a session in the week same place with their mum. My partner has gone berserk at this and thinks my ex should be taking him elsewhere, it's now come out because I wont sent my son elsewhere that I am all cosy with the ex and not taking my partners side at all. All he comments have been brought up telling me I should be calling my ex and making him apologise etc. Fact is I dont want new issues and wish to just co parent and finally be parents to our son amicably. I just really feel like I am trying to help everyone and give my son stability but I am still in the wrong?? What would you do am I in the wrong?

Do as you please ..do whats best for your son.Tell ex and current partner to fuck off dictating to you and you will do whats right for your son and yourself. No one gets to tell you what to do ...don;t let them, People will only treat you like you allow them too. Both men need to learn some respect .Just put your foot down OP and tell them their issues will not be yours.
