To see the doctor about this?

I don't want to waste their time if it's silly!

The past couple months I have been waking from every single sleep (including naps) covered in sweat, and I always have bad dreams. I wake up so drowsy because I'm not having a nice sleep. I nap in the day because my LO is a bad sleeper still and even a short nap I have the same experience.
I've tried wearing different amounts of clothing, even just in underwear I still sweat. I don't think it's considered 'night sweats' because I can't 'wring my clothes out' but my clothes are definitely damp and the bed too.

Would this be something to see the doctor about? I'm only 23 so I don't think it could be menopause?!

Have you lost any weight? Do you bruise easily or have frequent infections? Do you think you could be anaemic? Any stomach pains?

ImAwfulWithUsernames · 12/11/2019 08:59

@DrVonPatak I had some stomach pains a few days ago and was being sick all night but was better by morning. Other than that I've not had any other symptoms! We are trying for another baby but haven't been successful so far

I think it may be a good idea to go have your basic bloods checked, just in case. I'm not saying it's anything, but better to have it checked than have it play on your mind.

@DrVonPatak okay will do thank you!

Are you taking any medication? I take Sertraline and that causes me to have night sweats. Definitely worth seeing GP and getting some bloods done.

I’ve just been to my dr for the same thing, he said it’s normal post natal. My boy is only a couple of months and the dr said it passes around 4/6month.
I also know it’s signs of peri menopause but I’m not even 30 so wouldn’t be impressed if it was! He advised to go back in a few months if it continues.
