Just that really. Like many other Aspies, I find it difficult to read social cues, between the lines and I can really get overwhelmed in a social situation. This resulted, in my case, in a very limited social circle, consisting mainly of three separate circles: my family, work and my cat. A part of me always yearned for more, although, the older I get, the more I accept that I'm maybe unfair to myself regarding that self expectation. I guess this is my way of reaching out to "my people". So, is there anyone up here in this corner of the world (North East)?
