Lidl ski week, looking for advice please.

Posting here for traffic as the skiing board is so quiet at the moment.

Lidls ski week starts today. The DC have got their outerwear sorted. I need salopettes and DH needs both salopettes and a jacket. I'm looking for opinions on the Lidl versions please. My DC have coats from there (the waterproof ones) that have been excellent, so I know that some things can be great. I just don't want to get there and realise that we've made a mistake.

They've also got thermal layers for sale, and we need those too.

DP got some salopettes there one year. Bit lurid but we're functional - didn't complain about getting wet or anything. Can't remember if he is still using them though in terms of longevity.

I imagine they may not have the breathability of other brands. I would check jackets for sleeve/chest pockets - as it's a a pain not to have those to put your lift pass in.

Ooh, great tip, thank you. I have a Trespass jacket with a sleeve pocket, so I can carry them if need be. I was lucky that a friend bought the jacket, realised it was too small and offered it to me. They wouldn't take any money for it either. It's hot pink so you can generally spot me. Have just bought DS2 an all in one orange suit from Decathlon. I'm okay with lurid.

I bought the girls ski fleece the other year. It was very warm, couldn't wear it for anything apart from skiing.

I bought a girls age 15 and it was a bit too long and big (5'3", size 6/8)

I bought toddler DS a scarf/hat thing we used loads as well.

Although it might have been from Aldi actually the scarf/hat thing?
