Aisha broke records and raked in 1.2 million as project manager for the bike task.Tjis week she was a lot quieter and got fired on that basis but i do not agree she dosnt do anything....she made over a million the other week ffs! Some random guy whose name i cannot remember has hardly done anything remained. Am i missing something here?

But she didn't make £1.2 million, its a TV show she was just a 'face' for the screen that particular week. The show is filled with idiots and numptys, I am surprised she lasted as long as she did.

Nighttimefreedom · 07/11/2019 21:40

I thought she was good in the bike task too. But she wouldn't have been missed tonight. Think overall awful Lottie should have gone. She's unbearable.

PurpleMice · 07/11/2019 21:41

I’d say that she was just lucky in the previous task. They’re not real products or real orders, just part of a telly program, so it’s always difficult to judge any tangible value. And this week she was completely overshadowed by two much more visible candidates, who also make great viewing.

peppersaunt · 07/11/2019 22:29

Also that squeaky voice!

HollowTalk · 07/11/2019 22:32

I think they're saving Lottie and Ryan Mark (ffs, what a name) for the interviews.

Aisha (sp?) was bloody awful. When others were rowing, she didn't try to smooth things over. She didn't come up with any ideas. Once, just once, she said something about that stupid unicorn which helped her team. She really needed to go weeks ago.

arethereanyleftatall · 07/11/2019 22:35

You realise they're pretend sales don't you?

Figmentofmyimagination · 07/11/2019 23:01

It’s just telly. They need the dreadful ones who keep us watching.

Sarcelle · 07/11/2019 23:07

She wasn't very good. That's it.

Lottle · 07/11/2019 23:30

People like to associate with those who look like themselves....

Ilovetolurk · 07/11/2019 23:32

People like to associate with those who look like themselves

If that was the case they’d all look like shar peis

Redlioness123 · 07/11/2019 23:36

Unfortunately she doesn't seem to have gained any respect from any of her team mates - even after that £1.2m win - did you see them immediately outside the boardroom? They all hugged one another and Iasha, as project manager, was looking around awkwardly for someone to embrace. Knew at that point she would be out soon

Singlenotsingle · 07/11/2019 23:36

Lord Sugar's got to work with the winner so it's got to be someone he likes. I think it's going to be Thomas. Ashea doesn't stand out, she's too quiet and oh that baby voice! She didn't win the 1.2 million on her own. It's a team effort.

Lottle · 07/11/2019 23:46

@ilovetolurk

Hehehe Grin

Aridane · 07/11/2019 23:59

You realise they're pretend sales don't you?

But sales of real ,products to members of the Public are real,Myers?

Sobeyondthehills · 08/11/2019 00:16

my friend does Alan Sugars lines, lets just say its an awkward realtionship and most of it is bollocks, but knowing that (also knowing a candiadate sort of) doesn't stop making me watch the car crash

GabsAlot · 08/11/2019 00:24

It was a bit unfair but she obviously doesnt make good tv like lottie and thomas do-lottie has got to be playing it up because i hope someone at 19 years old isnt that rude and stuck up

ScreamingCosArgosHaveNoRavens · 08/11/2019 00:26

I agree with you. Aisha won as project manager a couple of weeks ago. She also saved the day in the pitch for the unicorn toy. She could barely get a word in on the coaster task because the others spent the whole time squabbling. Their roller coaster lost because the concept was flawed and the poster wasn't arresting enough - none of that was Aisha's call.

But. It's become increasingly clear that the ones they save are those who make the most interesting TV. The louder and more asinine, the better. Piss off the rest of the team? You're a cert for the Final Five. They're picking off all the quiet, sensible candidates. That's why she was fired.

AhNowTed · 08/11/2019 01:26

It's just telly.

Nobody actually bought those bikes or anything else. They're all "theoretical" sales.

Tortoiser · 08/11/2019 01:34

@malificent7 - can you ask mnhq to change your thread title please for those of us who haven’t yet watched it. Thank you!

Curtainly · 08/11/2019 01:45

Her bike pitch was cringy and out of touch, Sarah, the woman who has given up work and wants a bike to be able to leisurely ride around, when it clearly looked like a commuter bike. They won because let's be honest, the others teams was awful! And it's a team effort. Obviously it's hard to tell as it's all edited, but it doesn't seem like she had done much on the other tasks, she may as well have been declared the winner if she was going to ride on the back of that one task.

FreeBedForFlys · 08/11/2019 01:50

They’re uniformly awful but her little voice, meep meep meeping away in the background drives me bonkers.

arethereanyleftatall · 08/11/2019 07:38

This is how my understanding of apprentice works....
In the initial application stage they choose maybe 3 or 4 decent applicants; then they choose the worst - the least intelligent/loudest/most obnoxious/most arrogant applicants. These will then be voted off in any order, it doesn't matter which, normally those which make decent car crash tv stay.
Then sugar ends up with a reasonable apprentice (out of the 3 or 4), and the rest are there for people to laugh at on the tv. The most ridiculous point for me was when out of the what 6 people on one entire team, none of them knew when ww2 began. That is absolutely ridiculous.
