Spotted in Tesco.

Hasn’t this character’s weird stalking already been widely criticised?

To think this t-shirt is ill-advised?

SinkGirl · 06/11/2019 19:55

Well that too 😂

I wish Tesco would just concentrate on not selling mouldy fruit and vegetables.

OrangeTwirlGate · 06/11/2019 20:23

I love Tesco’s fruit and veg. Go out of my way to buy it.

And I see nothing wrong with this T-shirt (not that I’d buy it) but I assume you’re the type who fines offence in everything

marvellousnightforamooncup · 06/11/2019 20:24

I'll advised because it's the shittest film ever.

Runkle · 06/11/2019 20:25

£18?!

littlepaddypaws · 06/11/2019 20:26

everyone to their own, personally i dislike t.shirts with wording on them.

MrsTerryPratchett · 06/11/2019 20:26

My DH sent me the meme of this the other day. Because to him I am perfect. Envy I know.

But you can take it at face value if you want.

KeepYourCup · 06/11/2019 20:27

If it didn't say the name of the film at the bottom, I wouldn't have even known where the reference came from.

Not sure what's wrong with them selling it though, if you don't like his character's behaviour, dont buy one.

Dinosforall · 06/11/2019 20:28

Would I wear it? No

Would I be at all perturbed if I saw someone else wearing it? Also no

adaline · 06/11/2019 20:29

Would I wear it? No.
Is it offensive and ill-advised? Also no.

GingersAreLush · 06/11/2019 20:29

I wouldn’t wear it but I don’t give a flying fuck if someone else did. I don’t get the fuss, sorry.

adaline · 06/11/2019 20:29

x-post @Dinosforall Grin

cushioncovers · 06/11/2019 20:30

I wouldn't wear it because it's a shitty looking t shirt but I couldn't care less if someone else was.

Tableclothing · 06/11/2019 20:30

It's ill-advised because it alerts everyone to the wearer's shit taste in films.

Amanduh · 06/11/2019 20:30

It’s a film.
Get a grip.

Mamasaurus82 · 06/11/2019 20:31

He was a stalkery character. It's a horrible t-shirt. YANBU

sparepantsandtoothbrush · 06/11/2019 20:33

It doesn't really make any sense. Who would buy it? A man who thinks his woman is perfect, is she really going to wear it? Or a woman who ummm...nope I don't know.

It's not ill advised, it's just a bit of a weird thing to put on a shirt. As for his character being criticised, it's a movie FFS. So what if he was pulling shit like this behind his best mates back. Again IT'S A MOVIE

Bubbinsmakesthree · 06/11/2019 20:35

EIGHTEEN POUNDS?!?!

Keepyoursockson · 06/11/2019 20:36

God that film was shit. I’ve never seen it through as I kept zoning out. Apart from the Alan Rickman bits.

Celebelly · 06/11/2019 20:37

Idc, I still love that scene and film. And Andrew Lincoln can turn up on my doorstep any time he likes. It is expensive though for what looks like a cheap T-shirt.

CAG12 · 06/11/2019 20:44

Urgh. Its fine.

I feel like its a non-issue

3catsandcounting · 06/11/2019 20:53

Surprised at the 'stalker' label. Yes, he was inappropriate but he hardly harassed and persecuted her.
(Andrew Lincoln can do no wrong) Wink

MrsTerryPratchett · 06/11/2019 20:55

Surprised at the 'stalker' label. Yes, he was inappropriate but he hardly harassed and persecuted her.

If my DH's best mate turned up at my door holding signs that he'd made like that, I'd call it harassment. And he made videos of just her at her WEDDING. Just because Andrew Lincoln is hot, doesn't make the behaviour OK.

RightEarlobeBreath · 06/11/2019 20:59

Yanbu. I feel like anyone who buys and wears this might as well be carrying a sign that says they are an easy target for unhealthy relationships. Like announcing you believe stalking and inappropriate behaviour is attractive to you.
