to be feeling sorry for myself?

Total pity party thread but I just feel like crap.

Pretty sure I picked up some kind of bug yesterday because since early evening I've been horrendously sick (both ends, sorry!) and got about 20 minutes sleep last night. Spent more time in the bathroom than in bed.

I booked a few days off work this week with the intention of still taking DD (11 months) to nursery and just grabbing a bit of time to myself, as it'll be the longest I have to just chill since she was born. Now I'm too ill to take her in but struggling to look after her. DH was helpful(ish) before he went to work and went out to get some medicine and brought all of DD's bits upstairs so I don't have to venture too fast from the bathroom.

Not really sure what my AIBU is, other than AIBU to feel like shit and be real sad about it? Sad

I've put DD down for a nap and currently crying the bathroom. I know that's a total overreaction but I just can't help it.

I’ll join your pity party.

All 7 of us are currently down with a stomach bug. 8yo dc2 started on Saturday followed by dc1(9) & 3(6) early hours of Sunday, dc4(4) last night then myself & Dh in the early hours of this morning & dc5(2) at about 7am. My tumble dryer has also decided to pack up.

@BernardsarenotalwaysSaints Aw no, that sucks. It's awful when the whole house comes down with something, there's no one left to help look after everyone. Flowers for you.

Can't your husband take her to nursery?
