Woolovers jumper search - posting for traffic

My recently deceased partner brought my this jumper in August, he died in September.

I've just completely fucked it up washing it. I thought it was cotton, it's 50/50 wool/cotton.

I'm distraught - I can't find a replacement anywhere. Has anyone got it in grey (size small) and wouldn't mind me buying it off them? I'm so upset I've done this.

I am sorry to hear this. I am sure you have done this but of not, have you contacted the brand to see if they have any left. If they only had a few left these can be taken down from the website and stored in warehouse. Maybe email them to see ?

helpmefindthisjumper · 03/11/2019 19:49

I've done that but I doubt it. It was on sale when he got it. I've emailed but I'll call tomorrow.

One was sold on eBay in October so they do come up so it may be just a matter of waiting. There's bound to be another one before too long.

helpmefindthisjumper · 03/11/2019 20:08

@NegroniOnIce how did you see the sold one? I've set up a "woolovers" alert on eBay.

I just searched 'woolover jumper grey' and then scrolled through live auctions - nothing there so ticked 'completed auctions'

Sorry for your loss. I hope you find a replacement jumper. May I suggest that you make a cushion cover with the damaged jumper, then you will always have it with you.
Best wishes.

I don’t know if it would work but there’s some ‘resizing shrunk washing’ hacks that may work.

Otherwise I’d do as PP suggests and make a cushion from it.

helpmefindthisjumper · 03/11/2019 21:41

I've soaked it in conditioner and stretched it out a bit. It's just not the same. I did think about a cushion. I'm gutted, I really liked it as a jumper too.
