How do we get MNHQ to stop that bloody Next advert

Not sure if it’s just on a iPad but today there’s an advert for Next where a big cube pops out and spins, shrinking all the text

I understand why you have them but we don’t come here for the adverts - they shouldn’t be taking over the page

I have the same problem on iPad too, it blocks all the posts and you can’t read anything or shut the ad down.

I’ve been having it too on iPad, please could you sort this MNHQ?

Agree, it’s so obnoxious. There was one the other week that split the page in half, basically taking up the whole screen with an add that you couldn’t close or scroll past. I think it was for Very.com

Seems not many of us are affected by this........

Can you put Adblocker on an IPad?

Same problem on Chrome.

I have sensory difficulties and it's making pages unreadable.

(Although it's better than the recent "Back Boris" one.)

I find the ads often cause major problems on my laptop and I use an adblocker when it gets bad. I am aware of the reason they are on the site but it makes it unusable a lot of the time.

I’ve got an adblocker on my iPad but I can’t remember which one. It was free and really easy to install. I don’t mind a few adverts and understand the need to raise revenue that way but if the ads are going to interfere with my MNing to that extent then they are all getting blocked, ‘freeloading’ or not.
