YABU.

Ah, earache is a bitch. I'm half watching a horror movie but can't be bothered to get up and turn off the main light, so its not having the full spooky impact.

Gossipjunkie22 · 31/10/2019 01:00

Aww poor soul hope your wee one feels better soon. Plenty of ☕ for you x

transformandriseup · 31/10/2019 01:16

Oh no. I remember having ear ache as a child and it was one of the worst pains ever.

MummyPig123 · 31/10/2019 01:28

I'll be joining!
DS had his 16 weeks jabs done. He is usually fine with them but today he was in a lot of pain with them and not taking much bottles 😥.
He's asleep now but I worry too much to sleep.
I can feel I'm almost about to drop off but I can't because I like to over check him! 😬

MummyPig123 · 31/10/2019 02:25

That's like me, as soon as my one drops off I feel relieved but at the same time scared Confused

Me! 19 month old DD with a cold and this is the fourth night and worst so far. She had been waking up hourly and still is but seems worse today.

She used to let me hold her and she would sleep that way but she doesn't like that anymore so is just tossing and turning and crying out every few minutes 😥 she's next to me in bed and I've tried every baby cold tip going, she just won't sleep when she finds it hard to breathe and with it being winter gets fairly regular colds. I'm worried about something too and can't get to sleep in between so I don't think I've been to sleep at all yet but maybe drifted off earlier for a few minutes

I feel terrible for her but also I am absolutely shattered. I have various family visiting at the weekend and I know they'll want to play with her and take selfies but I just wish someone would ask if I need a rest. I know I could ask but having to makes me worry if they'll be ok... if that makes sense. Nobody has ever asked if I'm ok, especially now she's older. Of course I am and I'm really happy etc but sometimes things like this push me to my physical limits a bit I think! But then I also find it's mind over matter so if I tell myself I'm not that tired I feel much better.

Just wish my mum for example could say something like "don't worry darling, I'll take her out for an hour, get into bed, would you like a cup of tea etc, she'll be fine with me"
But I know I could ask.

Sorry! I don't suppose you expected such a long reply 🙈 hope your little boy is ok

MummyPig123 · 31/10/2019 02:53

@AwaywiththeFish thank you for your reply!
I totally agree sometimes it feels so lonely doesn't it and hard. I just want someone to take over but no one is here, it's so hard!
Do you have work tomorrow? I do and not looking forward to it x
