To do a quiz without my best friend?

She and I, her DH, and another couple do pub quizzes every now and then. She loves it, but she works shifts and never knows her rota more than a few days in advance. Two weeks ago she didn't turn up at all on the night because she finished mid-evening and was exhausted (fair enough). But her DH was late (I don't think he really wanted to be there without her, TBH) and so were the other couple, so I sat there on my own at a table for six for about 20 minutes. It was awful. Now we have a big yearly fundraiser coming up. Last year she was working and turned up halfway through. She was very tired and not much good at answering questions. This year the other couple will be away. I have found one other person, tried to find others with no luck and we were invited onto another team. So for once, I will be on a team of six and stand a chance of winning, but without her. WIBU to tell her that she needs to find her own team if she wants to go? It would be weird not being with her, but if we switch now we will be letting down the other people.
