I hope you are ok. I have never had waters go naturally so I dont know anything about it. If you are worried phone your midwife or 111

Mine went naturally with a singleton at 41 weeks, I was having contractions at home in the bath and just felt like a massive wee j couldn't hold in.

The water balloon sensation may just be your bladder being under pressure... Not sure.

Best wishes on the safe delivery.of your babies

I had a water balloon sensation literally seconds before mine went in spectacular fashion.... it was the strangest but most clear sensation ever. Not sure about the sensation being there and them not breaking. Best of luck with everything! Flowers

With dd1, I didn't feel them go.

Dd2 on the other hand....it felt like there was a balloon down there and eventually it just popped. I'm talking full on explosion that soaked everything in its path (I was already in labour/hospital and she was born 29 minutes later)

If all concerned, call midwife of maternity triage

Nurse, not midwife, here. Also, never given birth. I am aware that the sensation is pretty common in late pregnancy. The pregnancy ( your child - know you love them! ) is pressing on your bladder! Nearly, not quite, ready to be born at a guess!

Before mine went and they went 24 hours ahead of any contractions I felt really uncomfortable. I was 40 weeks and earlier that evening at yoga my teacher commented that I was still
Moving well and hardly waddling.

Fast forward to an hour after and the feeling was like being too full - the feeling of having eaten too much and not being able to find a position to sit comfortably.

I felt like that in the late stages of my pregnancy, i thought they were going to go any minute for about two weeks! They never did though, had to be broken as i was pushing!
