I've found multiple stacks of poo in the middle of our garden as in the photo. Does anyone know what this belongs to??

Fox

StormBaby · 21/10/2019 17:57

Are you sure they're not worm casts?

Soubriquet · 21/10/2019 17:58

Sorry OP
I couldn’t hold it in anymore Grin

Underpressure123 · 21/10/2019 18:01

@StormBaby how would I know if they're worm casts? They look like poo Confused

We're in the middle of a small city so I doubt it's deer. Does look a bit like a fox.

iklboo · 21/10/2019 18:02

Fox poo looks like dog poo but a lot smellier.

iklboo · 21/10/2019 18:03

Looks like rat pellets to me.

sglod1on · 21/10/2019 18:04

Could be muntjac , we’re in the middle of a huge town and get them in the garden

StormBaby · 21/10/2019 18:04

@Underpressure123 if they're worm casts they will just be made of mud. Depends if you fancy having a sniff? Grin

Rinoachicken · 21/10/2019 18:05

Blush i hate rats. Isn't rat poo meant to be hard? This is soft.

We're in England. Do we even have snakes here??

I've got that outside my flat and just presumed it was like dug up mud by an animal like a worm?

writer112 · 21/10/2019 18:22

I asked my son, aged 9, aka Chris Packham in the making. He says badger.

CAG12 · 21/10/2019 18:23

The Uk has wild snakes - adders mainly but they tend to live on grasslands/heaths in the south of the country where its a bit warmer.

Kinda looks like the poo the deer left in my garden a few weeks back

Haxdret · 21/10/2019 18:27

Does it really stink? If so probably badger.

Underpressure123 · 21/10/2019 18:31

Doesn't stink but then I don't have the best sense of smell :/

OP posts:
Didiplanthis · 21/10/2019 18:31

Not rats - they are like big mouse poo. If no smell maybe worm casts if stinks? fox doesn't look big enough for badger ? Not pellety enough for deer.

DeepDarkWoods · 21/10/2019 18:36
