Posting for traffic...Aibu to wonder what you are getting your 5-6 year olds for Xmas. Particularly boys.

Good thread! Mine wants transformers which I’m not thrilled about (price vs play value issue for me). Board games and jigsaws will be added. Colouring stuff/paints and books too. Will follow this thread for more ideas.

Ours will get a battery operated pencil sharpener (he really wants one), a book and and a (fairy elaborate) marble run from us. jigsaws from both sets of grandparents, a book from his uncle.
