Non synthetic princess costumes

DD4 wants to be a princess for Halloween.. not my style but she's insisting
She wants to be aurora. (Plus supergirl cape and mask on top..)
But all I can find are those super sparkly, itchy flammable nylon monstrosities.
Anyone know a place to get a dress that looks like a princess but without the horror/synthetic itch?

I doubt such a thing exists. A proper non fancy dress might be your best bet. Just find a pink one and tell her its Aurora.
Hopefully these types of costumes will be done away with soon. Bad for the environment and totally flammable!

If it's just for a Halloween costume could you not hack something together? Buy a pink cotton dress, buy some pink cotton fabric and safety pin it around the waist so it makes a ball gown type skirt. Pin some white fabric onto the sleeves and bodice in the right shape for Aurora.

Capes are just a bit of fabric with some ties and a glued on logo?

I meant look for something like this in the way of a princess dress.

I'd just go to a charity shop and pick up a cheap princess costume, presumably you won't let her near any naked flames.

I would prefer something for her dress up box that she can wear again.
And something that isn't so plastic and pink I can't stand to look at it (My bias!)
The bridesmaids type dresses are a good call. I'll show her some of those and see if they meet requirements!

The only thing I could think of would be a bridesmaid or party style dress, with a tiara?

Maybe a ballet dress with some extra sparkles?
