To cook ready brek sachets on the stove?

Bought these by mistake instead of regular ready brek (which you can do in the microwave OR on the hob). The sachets only give instructions for microwave though. Any reason I couldn’t cook them in a pan?

No reason whatsoever (unless you forget to take them out of the packet) but is this because you don’t have a microwave? Otherwise YABVVU, because not having a porridge encrusted pan to wash is what makes sachets so wonderful.

i did them on the hob when microwave packed up but you'll need a non stick saucepan to make the washing up easier though.

That I have (the non stick pan)! It’s what I usually use. Fingers crossed!
