Hi. I have a student account for next 4 years, £1000 interest free so if i used it all nothing would add up.
I have a help to buy ISA which i can add £200 a month max into but can put £1000 in the first month, There’s 300 in it so would be 700 out of overdraft

Should i put that 700 in out of my overdraft so i can move quicker? Or is that a stupid idea?

I think it’s £1200 in the first month isn’t it? It was when I did a help to buy ISA. I think it sounds like an OK idea but the only issue will be once you come to buy the lenders will ask about any overdrafts? Will you have repaid it by then?

Mine is with Lloyd’s so only £1000 in first month. Would have repaid it by then yeah, I’m quite good at clearing my overdraft quickly
