Simply because I like talking about food 🐷

I can’t decide between blue cheese on crackers or chocolate cake & cream 🤤

Frozen cauliflower cheese. Ducking tons of the stuff can't get enough

Or porridge made with milk on the stove no microwave. With a biiiiigggg blob of peanut butter melted in it

Mmmmmmm making me hungry

ShinyMe · 17/10/2019 20:03

Oooh I love a bit of blue cheese. Haven't had any in ages, but now I want some.

Cheese is definitely my favourite food group.

I love all sorts of things, depending on mood, weather, time of day, all sorts. I love cheese though. And my mum's roast chicken and gravy. And eggy bread. And Sainsbury's cheese balls. And a nice sharp granny smith apple. And parsnips.

Daffodil2018 · 17/10/2019 20:06

McDonalds. Double cheeseburger, large fries, strawberry milkshake. I hardly ever have it, maybe once a year as a treat or when deeply hungover.

Birthdaycakemondays · 17/10/2019 20:06

(Google’s Sainsbury's cheese balls.) Grin

I love chili con carne. I could eat it every day either with rice, on nachos or pasta bake. Or just in an bowl on its own would do me. I'm having it tomorrow and I can't wait.

CileyMayRhinovirus · 17/10/2019 20:08

Asparagus dipped in runny eggs

Yorkshire puddings with gravy

Red onion chutney with thinly sliced vintage cheddar on crackers

Chip shop chips smothered in salt and vinegar (straight from the paper)

Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean custard or posh vanilla ice cream

Rhubarb crumble

Crumpets with lemon curd

Chilli con carne On jacket potato with lots of cheese and some spring onions on top

Grilled tomatoes with a tiny bit of olive oil and salt and pepper

Bacon sandwich with white bread and brown sauce or ketchup

I'm hungry now

Passmethecrisps · 17/10/2019 20:08

Hmm. I genuinely have no idea as it varies so much. I absolutely love crisps and if a bowl is out I will eat them until they are all gone

If I am alone, which is rare, I tend towards proper comfort stodge of pasta and butter or noodles in a stock cube.

Meal wise I think smoked salmon lasagne is a favourite

Passmethecrisps · 17/10/2019 20:09

Oh! Stuffing. Like for a chicken. I absolutely love it and it is without question my favourite I the part of a Christmas dinner or Sunday roast

onlyhereforthefood · 17/10/2019 20:10

Right now, pizza

Ask me in a week and it'll be something else...

Birthdaycakemondays · 17/10/2019 20:10

There is a lot to be said for pasta with just butter & grated cheese 👍🏼 Preferably spaghetti.

Yorkshire puddings, drowning in gravy.

Birthdaycakemondays · 17/10/2019 20:12

My 2 yo will eat practically none of anything but she will eat 4 yorkies with gravy in a row with ease @ JenniR29

Sweet potato in any form - mashed with lots of butter and black pepper, roast, chipped - yum!

Birthdaycakemondays · 17/10/2019 20:13

Chip shop chips smothered in salt and vinegar (straight from the paper)

YES.

Nachos, crisps, pizza, chili con carne, pan fried salmon, mac n cheese

iabvvu · 17/10/2019 20:18

A proper Cornish pasty

Musicalmistress · 17/10/2019 20:21

Smoked haddock on brown bread with a lightly poached egg

managedmis · 17/10/2019 20:24

A very hot chippy fish, with loads of salt and vinegar

Spag bol, loads of grated cheese, gratinéd till bubbling

Chicken dupoaza

Proper burger and sweet pot fries

Clevs · 17/10/2019 20:25

Spag Bol has been my favourite meal for as long as I can remember. I never get sick of it. I never order it when I'm out though as nothing compares to my own homemade one and we have it so often at home I think I should have something else when I'm out.

Tomatoes, especially cherry and sun dried tomatoes.

Raw carrot.

Cheese.

Crisps.

Shellfish, especially prawns.

Clevs · 17/10/2019 20:26

Oh, and poached egg with avocado on toast is my favourite breakfast. Bonus points for smoked salmon but I don't tend to have that unless I'm out.

ShinyMe · 17/10/2019 20:28

I recently, after 20+ years of trying and failing, managed to learn how to do poached eggs properly. I now eat poached eggs most weekends and I LOOOOVE them.

Georgiemcgeorgeface · 17/10/2019 20:28

Black olive tapenade
Chips and scraps with salt and vinegar
Caprese salad
Garlic dough balls
Smoked tuna

Arghh. I want to eat it all. Now!
