Should I have said thank you?

Today as I struggled to get into a local shop trying to open the heavy door, get the buggy in and make sure my 4 year old got in noticed a woman standing on the other side who was waiting for us to get in so she could leave.I was actually a little bit miffed at her as she stood there with her hands in her pockets just watching thinking I would of made a little effort to help with the door If there was someone with a buggy and I was alone.Anyway I didn't really acknowledge her as she left and she shot a passive aggressive "you're welcome" at us before she left. What does she think she actually did for me to say thank you? That she just waited while I struggled to get in? If someone is already trying to get through the door I don't think twice about waiting let alone expecting a thank you!AIBU??

Of course YANBU

But I would've been curious enough to politely ask, "Oh sorry, thank you for what?"

Are you absolutely sure she wasn't holding the door or trying to help in some way?

Normally I hate HATE when people don’t say thank you but I’m not sure what you were supposed to be thankful for here! I would have helped you ffs

I would have said, Oh my apologies, "thank you so much for holding the door when you could see I was struggli...oh wait no...."
