Was talking to her on msn the other night and she said I sounde really down, which is correct as have been feeling quite awful for a while now.

Anyway, she said she was free tonight so she'd try and come over for a cuppa and a chat. I said ok that would be great, let me know one way or another.

So here we are Tuesday evening and no sign of friend, no phonecall, text or email or anything.

Have tried ringing her but home and mobile go straight answer machine (always do).

I am a bit peevd tbh, as I was really looking forward to it.

YANBU

but she might have a really good readon for being so crap

RGPargy · 14/08/2007 20:14

YANBU. Just a quick text to say that she couldn't make it wouldn't go amiss would it. Bit rude. She's probably forgotten tho, which doesn't make you feel any better really does it?

nutcracker · 14/08/2007 20:17

Very true yes, although tbh I doubt it, as she isn't the most reliable person in the world, and a text/email/phonecall takes 2 seconds.

Obviously I am not at my best and if i were I might have shrugged it off, but seeing as the reason she was coming was mainly because of how crap I am feeling, I do feel quite let down.

Understandably so, nutcracker. Maybe the fact that she didn't call/text etc was because she knew you were feeling bad and she didn't want to come round but has just stuck her head in the sand and will pretend to have "totally forgotten" about coming to see you?
