To ask what on Earth this rash is? (Picture!)

Name change as this is very outing to anyone who knows me.

It's on my ankle bone. Raised and itchy. It appears every few weeks, sometimes only on one ankle, sometimes on both. I can't identify any link (e.g. shoes rubbing or certain socks). It's been appearing on and off for years! I described it to my GP in passing and they weren't concerned but just WHAT on Earth is this? Allergic reaction? Scabies??

Help me oh wise MNers.

I get this! GP also not all that interested but did prescribe Dermovate which shifts it almost overnight.
