I take HRT and drive steam engines.
Why are you an inspiration?

I got promoted to the board, and as my first act, fired the lazy and dodgy CEO.

CardsforKittens · 11/10/2019 11:29

I have a disability that exhausts me but I work long hours in a demanding job and wrangle teens every weekend.

TheDarkPassenger · 11/10/2019 11:29

I’m so far from an inspiration but I do have a friend who’s hen she gets drunk tells me I’m such an inspiration to her. But we all know alcohol can make you cray cray

TheDarkPassenger · 11/10/2019 11:29

When she get drunk*

Definitely no alcoholic hens involved

I've lost nearly 2 stone since starting running, lots of my friends say I've inspired them to start, and some of them have even done it!

EtonTrifleS · 11/10/2019 11:46

Yes, we are amazing because of what we do, it's all about the doing not the being. (Getting hens drunk, profession or hobby? )

I got to the very top of my profession and apparently I inspired lots of people.

I'm now sober. Which was much harder and seems to surprise rather than inspire people Smile

I've got a full time job, doing a long-distance Masters and have an 8 month DD all at the same time.

bibliomania · 11/10/2019 12:02

I completed a PhD while working full-time and being a lone parent.

karala · 11/10/2019 12:08

I'm a good listener and take the time to find out how people are. I'm also a good neighbour

Another former single parent mature student with very young kids, who managed to get out on top after an abusive relationship, still a partial homeowner.
Inspired my friend to get out of her relationship apparently.
My little girl once told me at age 2 that mummys don't work, I hope to inspire her and show her that they do!

trevthecat · 11/10/2019 12:17

I left my abusive ex, went back to college, then uni and opened my own business which is doing great. Looking at expansion next
