Long story short, had a very intense job interview this morning... didn't get the job..had already arranged childcare for the full day..

AIBU to take an hour to sit in the city centre with a glass of wine and just people watch before heading back?

Of course not. Sorry about the job.

Seren10 · 07/10/2019 14:01

Treat yourself.

Powerbunting · 07/10/2019 14:03

I'd do a coffee or similar, because I'd be morose enough without adding on alcohol.

But definitely sit and watch the world go by.

Bad luck,lass

Rachelover60 · 07/10/2019 14:06

Not unreasonable or you could go home and open a bottle on your own. I would do that, if I ever drank (even one) in town, I always wanted the loo on journey home :-). I could hold on but it wasn't comfortable.

There will be other jobs, we can't win 'em all. Good luck for future.

No different to sitting with a can of Stella.

JorisBonson · 07/10/2019 14:06

Also anyone else having a Monday wine? Good and bad?

(Prepares to be scolded for the alcohol culture in this country...any excuse!)
