Just started bleeding heavily but was only on 2 weeks ago?

Sorry, I know this isn’t an AIBU but I’m not really sure what to do.

I’ve had a small ovarian cyst before which went away on its own in the end, it made my periods quite irregular, in that I would tend to come on after 3 weeks instead of 4. The last year or so though my periods have been back to normal, every 4 weeks (I’m not on any form of birth control)

Needed a wee just now so went to the toilet, got up to flush the chain and saw a load of blood on the tissue. Then to my horror looked in my knickers and there was loads of blood. Fresh blood. I wiped again and more blood and a small clot or whatever those jelly like bits are. It looks like a period but I was only on 2 weeks ago. Literally came off on Sunday 24th/ Monday 25th September.

I also ALWAYS get bad period pain when I’m coming on my period and have had no pain whatsoever. I was literally just sitting here happy as Larry.

My boobs have been horrifically sore the last couple of weeks, which they can be around my period but obviously I was off.

I’m really not sure what to do. Just feel like I’m bleeding down below but just cannot believe it’s a period, again?!

Should I try and go to the dr tomorrow morning? Is that too dramatic? I have no idea!!

Could you have conceived? A breakthrough bleed can definitely look and feel like a period.

We’re not trying for a baby and have always used protection (condoms) I guess I’ll have to keep an eye on the bleeding today and try and get an appointment with the dr next week. No period pains or anything which just isn’t normal for me

Pads in and save them all. No flushing anything down the toilet. If you end up going to the doctors, take them all so they can be weighed. Measurable information is information doctors can’t refute. A plastic container in the fridge will stop any possible smell.

I would always take a pregnancy test with strange bleeding OP. My ectopic pregnancy had these symptoms. Good luck

Weirdly, the bleeding is gone? Or virtually? It’s like all of a sudden, I had a big gush of blood? All a bit random and definitely not normal for me so I’m going to book in at the Drs and push for a gynaecologist appointment myself I think as I’ve seen the synographer a few times and nothing has really been revealed apart from the small cyst. But last time, the cyst had apparently gone.

Definitely something not right. My boobs are still so sore and that’s been the case for a couple of weeks now
