Atarax stories please-very anxious about taking them!

Doctor has prescribed me atarax for sleep/anxiety as i wanted to ween myself off of diazepam and zoplicone.Has anyone got any experiences to share please? Feeling anxious about taking them

Are you stopping diazepam completely and replacing them with this or are you gradually cutting the dose?

It's just an anti-histamine that makes a lot of people drowsy. Nothing to worry about.

Sorry, I should have added that I take it regularly myself, with no ill effects.

I have taken it for a dermatology issue. Was fine. It's an antihistamine as PP says.
