Not a hairy handed troll - do people who wear glasses take them off to have sex?

OP posts:
neverornow · 04/10/2019 21:42

Ha ha yes I do! It'd be part of the stripping off process

Thistle23 · 04/10/2019 21:43

Depends on the position ,usually I fling the glasses off at some point.

drspouse · 04/10/2019 21:45

DH does and if I'm wearing mine I do too.

francienolan · 04/10/2019 21:46

Lol. Yes.

NavyBerry · 04/10/2019 21:49

Not in my experience. What's the need?

MirandaWest · 04/10/2019 21:49

Yes. The fact I am very short sighted could be a benefit, DH would say 😀

Cleverplayonwords · 04/10/2019 21:49

I only ever have sex at bedtime now really (we have a 3yo). So yes they're off.

nmc99 · 04/10/2019 21:50

Lol thank you I'm considering sleeping with a glasses wearer but I've not been in this situation before

OP posts:
Sashkin · 04/10/2019 21:51

It depends on whether we started off wearing them tbh. If we've just woken up I don't go looking for them before dtd. But if I'm already wearing them I don't stop to take them off.

I'm shortsighted though, so I can see DH just fine from six inches away with or without them.

TiredandHangry · 04/10/2019 21:53

My OH usually takes mine off when we are kissing so they are rarely on during sex.

AnnaMariaDreams · 04/10/2019 21:54

DH and I both wear glasses and we don’t wear them to have sex. We don’t wear anything!

PotPlantKiller · 04/10/2019 21:57

My DP takes his off for sex though they have been squashed a few times.

Rachelover60 · 04/10/2019 21:59

Yes :-).

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 04/10/2019 21:59

Sometimes. Not always!

madmother1 · 04/10/2019 21:59

Yes, I always take mine off!!!

8Track · 04/10/2019 22:02

I am very short sighted - mine often start on and then come off when I get annoyed with them getting squashed.

I like them on because then I can see DP!!

OP, I've always taken the lead as it were in either wearing or removing the glasses, so don't feel you need to take them off for your new partner...but be prepared for a slight lack of focus if they do - although I'm sure you won't be concentrating on that.

AgeLikeWine · 04/10/2019 22:05

My glasses generally live in the car, where we infrequently have sex, so there is generally no need.

DP’s seem to reside permanently on top of his head. He has been known to forget to remove them when he has a shower, so it would be unsurprising for them to be in their usual place during sex Grin.

HillRunner · 04/10/2019 22:09

Yes. Otherwise I'd risk breaking them and they're quite expensive!

SallyWD · 04/10/2019 22:14

Of course!

PhilomenaButterfly · 04/10/2019 22:15

Yes. First.

elQuintoConyo · 04/10/2019 22:16

Yes. We both wear them, or they'd be knocking together like coconuts!

incognito76 · 04/10/2019 22:16

DP usually takes his glasses off. Much easier without them.

I find it quite reassuring in a way as his vision is absolutely terrible without them, so he probably can't see my cellulite.

Noooodles · 04/10/2019 22:17

I take mine off.

adaline · 04/10/2019 22:18

Yes - I'd be too worried about breaking them!

LucieFurr · 04/10/2019 22:18

Depends if I want to see it close up
