Going away on my Birthday!

Right firstly seems a bit silly,but some good friends have asked us to stay with them next year(live abroad ).Very excited ,we have about 4 months window in which we could go for 2 weeks .Have a significant birthday next year, so do you think we should go then ?like to .but worried
what my family (all grown up) might think!.Could go other dates but seems a bit different and exciting for a big "O" BD! Any thoughts appreciated

I think you should go away when you want to and if it's over your birthday you can always organise a separate celebration before you go or after you get back. It's unlikely you'd have a big party on the actual day of your birthday surely unless it happens to fall on a Saturday?

Bottle of Jameson Thank you. Even though they are older and have BF/GF etc still always spend my B/D together! A good idea ,can get together when back of course .Could do Party/Dinner when back .It will be nice to celebrate a "biggie " in another country!

Yes, that sounds lovely! Just organise something before/after for your family to celebrate with you.
