I'm making a conscious effort to be more relaxed and happy. Making a rule to do more little things to treat myself.
What are the things you do/buy yourself :)

I'll start off ...
Coffee or breakfast in a nice cafe
Walks in the park
Holidays and hotel stays
Sitting drinking tea in my family's houses
Watching films
Going to the pub
Buying fancy make up and toiletries
Doing my food shop and adding in some goodies :)

Long bath
Bunch of flowers
Nice walk then cup of tea and book in the sun
Comedy gig
New plants for the garden

ParkheadParadise · 03/10/2019 13:34

Having my nails done.
Weekend away with friends.
Long bath
Lie in at the weekend
Buying expensive candles
Dropping dd at nursery, then meeting up with friends for breakfast.
Weekly trip to the hairdressers.
Buying myself flowers.

GlitterSparkle85 · 03/10/2019 14:16

Trip to hairdressers
Massage
Retail therapy
Getting eyebrows done
Getting some good underwear!
Watching a good film

livingthegoodlife · 03/10/2019 14:59

Cup of tea
Time on Mumsnet
Getting nails painted
Bath

Not really got the money for proper treats. Buying myself flowers seems madly decadent! (Jealous)

summersherewishiwasnt · 03/10/2019 14:59

Fresh flowers
Fluffy socks
Perfume
@ParkheadParadise. Weekly trip to hairdressers?? :-0 you hair must grow fast!

A takeaway delivered just for me on Friday lunchtime. It's usually fairly healthy - sushi or a Lebanese meal - but choosing it without negotiating with DH and then putting DD down for a nap and enjoying a meal in peace is a.ma.zing.

katkit · 03/10/2019 15:14

watching Netflix while drinking prosecco, and with my daughter's guinea pigs on my lap. Don't tell anyone.

MooseBeTimeForSummer · 03/10/2019 15:20

An hour in a flotation tank

KUGA · 03/10/2019 15:30

Encourage dh to go to his local club, front door closes, pick up mobile phone Chinese for a delivery open bottle of red wine and sit back and enjoy.
Save him a bit of yuk sung.
HAPPY DAYS.

Cherrypicker01 · 03/10/2019 15:31

I’m currently sat at work in the office by myself with the radio blasting, the lights off eating homemade carrot cake with a brew Grin

Sallycinammonbangsthedruminthe · 03/10/2019 15:36

get a pedicure
buy perfume
buy woodwick candles
buy baileys, malibu or some naff drink just cos I like it !
read my book in peace
afternoon nap on the bed
boring really but it makes me happy!

Iameverybean · 03/10/2019 16:01

Yes to yours Cherrypicker01 take some 'me' time anywhere you can!

Mine are quite frugal as I'm usually skint but they still work for me:

Listen to a mediation app (and most likely fall asleep in the middle of the day)
Bake something sweet and indulgent for no reason
Book & bath
Podcast & bath

bridgetreilly · 03/10/2019 16:32

Craft projects
Or if I haven't got time for them: Buying things for future craft projects

Twuntsrule · 03/10/2019 20:32

Upgrade my Friday/Saturday wine when there's something to celebrate

Buying French butter at Whole Foods/Trader Joe's (always)

Treating myself to a new book for my Kindle, or making an in-app purchase for one of my favorite iPad games

Dinner out with friends

A reasonably new movie rental on Amazon Prime

Picking up a nice steak at the butcher's

I'm not the overly extravagant type, but these little things give me much pleasure!

Whitejasmine · 03/10/2019 20:37

Buy nice clothes that I know I may not wear often as I don’t get the chance (SAHM) but coz I luuurve them!
Nails and hair once a month also eyebrows waxed and tinted.
Occasional massage.
Now my youngest is at school I take one day every couple of weeks or so to sack off the housework and go and do something like visit an art gallery, have a nice walk somewhere a bit different or meet a friend for a nice lunch.

Cheeseoncrumpets · 03/10/2019 20:44

Getting my hair done
Getting my eyebrows threaded
Going out for a coffee and cake
Treating myself to a takeaway (Indian and Pizza being my faves)
Going to a Yoga class
Going for a run
Drinking herbal tea
Having a gin and tonic

dementedma · 03/10/2019 20:45

Massage
Go to the beach on my own
Coffee and cake somewhere
A ready meal instead of cooking

PrincessHoneysuckle · 03/10/2019 20:59

A cuppa and MN as soon as I've done the school run.
A hot bath with a face mask.
A celeb magazine.
Wine.

SherbetSaucer · 03/10/2019 21:06

Weekly deep tissue massages
Eyebrow wax and tint
Weekly meals out
Movie nights
Cocktails with friends
4 hour naps especially at the weekend
Long bubble baths

Although, it doesn’t feel like treating myself really because I do what I want when I want all the time. Lol.

Glitterybelle · 03/10/2019 21:20

Ahhh these all sound so good. Massages are another one.

Also @cherrypicker01 - I salute you. That sounds fab Grin
