That my secret was outed via mumsnet??
Basically, MIL knows a secret that only me and DP knew about she wasn't happy about it but that's not the point
DP swears he hadn't told her, and it's not the sort of thing you tell your mum over a cuppa anyway. Plus he was as surprised as me when she told me "I know what you did". PLUS he would just tell me if he had told her, I can't control what he does and doesn't tell his mum.
I sure as fuck didn't tell her.
The only other people that know is whoever responded to my thread about the issue at the time.
However, this seems like a stretch to me. 1. Nobody would assume I was a mumsnetter - I am definitely not your "typical" person you would think would be on here.
- She wouldn't have known my username because she didn't know I was on here and I change my username quite regularly anyway.
- My username isn't connected to any other social media etc etc
So that just mean that she just happened to stumble across a previous thread I think in AIBU just whilst it was on the active page?!
It's the only explanation. Either that or she's been raking in my bins and put a tracker on my car
