Transcom - debt management company - Ebay

Anyone ever heard of ebay using this company for debt management or is it a scam???

I sold items over a few weeks.
Monthly ebaby fee was paid at end of month.
I withdrew other profit from sales from paypal account (leaving it empty).
Following month ebay invoice asked for money which wasn't there (as sales were over a few weeks).
We were away, busy etc. Forgot to pay outstanding ebay bill. Got reminders which said account was now de-activated.
Have had emails and phonecalls from people saying they are Transcom, requesting payment of fees from ebay.
Went online ebay and paid the outstanding fees.
Ebay account now reactivated and fully operational.
Still getting contact from people saying they are transcom.

?Do ebay use them?
are they legit?
is it a scam?
will there be a penalty for not paying what they say I owe (I have now paid the original ebay outstanding fee).

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any experience of it?

A quick google would tell you it's legitimate. You need to speak to them / eBay to sort it out.

Yeah I can't remember the name of the company but Ebay passed on my outstanding fees to debt agency pretty quickly. I settled immediately and no impact on my credit file.

the debt management company emails don't show up in my ebay user messages folder. should they do you think?

I am not very confident at the moment and fearful of being scammed (giving out credit card details over phone to pay a "transcom" bill but finding out it is crooks who use the data to buy loads of other stuff)

They may try to charge you an addition fee on top of the ebay fee for their costs in pursuing you. Ignore them!

Thanks
