I don’t see many ads nowadays but have seen one on Virgin a couple of times now about restricting kids screen time. It shows a child in a dark room stating at a screen. Then shows said child happily baking with mum in the kitchen except they are following a recipe on the bloody iPad! To me all that is saying is “actually we cannot live or function without screens, but hey screens are bad”. Wouldn’t it be better if they were following the recipe from an actual book? I think it’s very mixed messages.
