Posting here for traffic. Ive been to the doctors who have reffered me onto, I know i wont find out proeprly until ive been to my gynacologist appointment but im hoping someone has been through similar and can shed some light?

Im nearly 28 years old, have PCOS ( my youngest child is nearly 3 ) im not on any contraception and since July i have been bleeding really irregularly. From what ive read if you are overweight and have PCOS you could bleed reguarlly but i am not overweight and am fairly active.

These are the times i have bled since July and i just cant understand why,

23rd July - 27th July
4th August - 7th August
18th August - 25th August
9th September - 20th September
29th September -

Has anybody been through similar and found out what it was caused by?

I have done, it turned out to be a polyp on my womb. Had it removed and been fine ever since.

Forgot to add i have taken several pregnancy tests and i am definetly not pregnant ( read that early pregnancy can cause bleeding )

Only when I had Chlamydia. It was a weird time period wise.

I bleed for a day or two when I ovulate.

It happened to be when i wasn't eating enough. I was stupidly dieting to extreme levels and started bleeding mid month. I started eating properly and have been ok since.
Hope you find out what it is x

It happened to me once, maybe twice. By the time I'd gotten round to thinking "I need to see someone about this", it had stopped.

My sympathies.

Thank you for the replies

I have wondered if it was polyps or fibroids as the bleeding is heavier than what its normally like

I dont think its chlamydia 😂

Funnily enough i started a diet on the 30th July and have lost 7lb so maybe the sudden weight loss is playing a part?

My partner and i would like to have another baby so im keen to get it sorted out

I do, but I suffer from hyperovulation, so each side releases an egg and I have a period every 14-17 days. Nightmare.

Mine was put down to stress, I was studying and taking a lot of exams at the time so sent my period a little crazy.

The Gp was right when she said everything would just settle down when it wants to and it did. I wasn't in any pain or anything but still kept an eye on things. Make sure you note any changes 💐
