To completely feel life is passing me by?

I’m 28 (just turned) and work in an intensive job - either seem to have to revise or work late nights, it’s in the legal industry, leaving little time for anything else. I’m reasonably well paid at 50k with the potential to go up to a fair bit more.

The upshot is that I feel like life is passing me by! I don’t have time to date. I’ve never had a serious relationship and have serious self esteem issues. I don’t have that much fun, I’m still so young and it’s rubbish - constantly rushing around yet thinking when is my life actually going to start

Can anyone give advice?

I have a couple of friends who worked in Corporate Law. One had a breakdown and now makes a living teaching martial arts.

The other took a career break when she felt she couldn't last another day, she went travelling for a year and wrote her first novel and got a publishing deal.

If it's not working for you, you need to change it. Either develop better boundaries so you aren't working crazy hours, or leave and do something else. Good luck!
