What would you do for your birthday?

It’s my birthday next week - I’m 28. Not a big birthday at all but having two young children (2 years & newborn) I haven’t really celebrated my birthday for a few years or had much time to myself.

DH has asked what I want to do? A night away without the kids maybe? A spa? A show/night in London?

I want to make THE MOST out of my 1 day/night.

Or is there a gift instead I could ask for that would blow a night away out the water?!

WWYD?! 🎂

I'm always much more of a fan of a trip/experience than a gift, so I'd definitely go for the night away/spa break! For my birthday this year my dp and I stayed in a yurt. It had the cosiest fire and a hot tub and we didn't see another soul for the whole weekend. We lived off of bbq foods and cheese and wine and it was BLISS

Quiet time somewhere if poss. We are off to stay in a boat on the lakeshore with a private beach tomorrow. Looking forward to it more than a week in Majorca!

11 month old, who is up multiple times a night since the day he was born, a night away would be bliss! Grin

Sounds AMAZING!

Go away for the night!! Our DS is 13 months and when he was 10 months we went away (were sent away by my parents actually!) for a weekend to Poole. Nothing glamorous but allowed us to sleep (!) and relax. If you have the choice, go for it!
