Tax free childcare scheme

Hi! In need of some urgent advice

I’ve set up the tax free childcare account to start from 1st Oct and have got a standing order to transfer the 80% to the account on the 25th of each month

Just gone into my online bank to check its gone..which it did. But it’s come straight back the next day!!!!

So my tax free childcare account shows £0 instead of the money I’d transferred

Why has this happened?

Have you verified your details on your. Gob account?

Sorry. Gov ie the childcare account. You need to verify at start and every three months

How do I do that?

The accounts not asking me to verify anything?

I had loads of problems like this at the beginning. You need to ring their helpline so that they can look into your account and tell you what has gone wrong. 03001234097

I’d just ring them, the whole system is a joke, the first two months I used it it didn’t send the payments and they couldn’t tell me why, and it always tops up a different amount every month, even if you put the same amount in, I always end up putting in too much just in case.
