British Airways cynicism

Oh, yes, they made a "mistake", emailing passengers the day before their flights to say that their return flights on the non-strike days were cancelled, and then reinstated them several hours later. It means that they can wriggle out of compensating people who, naturally, immediately made alternative arrangements to book flights home, because they technically gave them 14 days notice. Well, that's my take. Not impressed.

They also told Thomas Cook stranded cabin crew that they needed to pay thousands of pounds each to get home to the UK! Only changed their tune when the crew went to the media.
