Or is my DH being a CF (lighthearted)

Currently on holiday with our 1 year old. We are all running out of clean clothes. Told DH I was putting a wash on - 1 lot of darks, 1 lot of lights. We have been putting laundry in a bag near machine. He saw me sorting them out, saw me putting a wash on.

I then go for a shower. I get out of shower and notice there is a dark t-shirt and pair of undies in middle of lights pile which is waiting to go in after darks. And another pair of dark shorts and undies have just appeared, not in the laundry bag, but right next to it on floor.

DH denying he has put t-shirt/undies in with the whites (they were not on top but mixed in) and instead saying I must’ve fucked up when I sorted them.

Is he being a CF?

He bloody does this at home (deal is I do laundry and he does lunches for work) - I saw are all your dirty clothes in basket as I’m doing a wash? Assured they are. I check basket and see nothing in there. Put wash on. Usually around 10 mins later a whole bunch of his dirty clothes appear in the basket.

Yeah, CF dry right there. And he has form! Start using your phone to photograph the laundry pile before you walk away. Why does it have to be your fault? Is Mr Right's middle name Always?

NearlyGranny · 20/09/2019 07:55

CFery

burntpinky · 20/09/2019 07:56

Love the idea of photographing it!!! The bare faced lie annoyed me more than the molestation of my laundry pile

Is he trying to sabotage your efforts for whites to stay white so that he can accuse you of not doing it right?

Chocolatecake12 · 20/09/2019 08:01

The flaw in your plan is that you are still doing laundry whilst on holiday when I bet he’s not making lunches!
Guess he’ll have dirty clothes .......

Blanca87 · 20/09/2019 08:01

So when he does lunch for work, do you mean he makes lunch for himself or for you both? Totally misses the point....

PositiveVibez · 20/09/2019 08:02

Unless he has an issue, I'd think he was doing it on purpose to piss you off.

I mean, how do you not understand dark pile and light pile 🤷

burntpinky · 20/09/2019 08:20

Makes lunch for both. I know, no lunch making on hols!!!

Makes lunch for two people; a 5 minute job vs family laundry which takes considerably more effort and time?

Perhaps you need to reverse these roles if he is sabotaging you.

Toooldtocareanymore · 20/09/2019 08:59

when you get home, first chance you get remove your lunch and put it elsewhere and tell him he forgot to make it.

burntpinky · 20/09/2019 10:15

Ha ha, love the hiding food bit! To be fair to him, he’d prob do the laundry if I let him but he’s likely to put reds in with whites etc and his hanging skills are dire

Yes, competent incompetence. That's what they do to avoid the less easy jobs.

burntpinky · 20/09/2019 13:05

True. Gah, men are annoying!!!

LTB alone to handle the family laundry

burntpinky · 20/09/2019 14:25

So, I have now discovered that only 3pairs of undies have made it into the laundry (I’ve washed one which made first cut) - we have been away 8 days so where the fuck are the rest?!

Under the beds with all the single socks?

WillLokireturn · 20/09/2019 16:31

Give him evils (stare) from me.... He's being deliberately thoughtless/incompetent about the laundry piles. Gah....
