Took their first steps today just after their 3rd birthday Grin
Know it's not the usual subject for AIBU but I just want to shout about it! After a year of physio, walking frames and doctors prodding she finally walked, proud mummy moment that I was starting to think wouldn't ever come!
I've commented on a few threads on here about late walkers so just wanted to share and say hang in there Smile

She is so amazing! She kept practicing when we got home and the look of pure determination and joy on her face is one I will never forget Smile
Piedro boots are the best thing ever!

Hooray and you’ve given me hope. My 27 months old isn’t walking yet and it feels like I’m the only one in the world with someone so old not walking. Hooray you must be so proud

Ps we’ve just got piedro boots so keeping my finger crossed for us..My son has a diagnosis of hyper mobility so he’s like a plate of jelly when trying to walk

That's fantastic!! Well done to your wee one. My little boy is 28 months and isn't walking. Can cruise really well but has proprioceptive problems. I can completely imagine how delighted you are!! 😍👏 Xxx

@Myusername2015 @Fleaminraging it was only after we got the piedro boots that she started showing progress. She was a bum shuffler and then adapted by knee walking. It feels like there is no one else out there with toddlers that are not walking sometimes!
