Tiny human

Am I the only one to find it really twee and annoying when people talk about tiny humans. Usually ones they've created.

"I can't believe I made this tiny human" "DH and I often stare at the humans we have created in disbelief" "Remember you are the mother of an actual human"

I don't know why this is annoying me so much, I think because I'm seeing it a lot atm and it just sounds so silly.

"I call my dog ‘little man"

I call my dog 'Pretty Lady' and the other one "Munchkin".

I have no problem with Lil Man, Tiny Human... Or any other terms of endearment. They are much better than some things I have heard parents call their children.... Its enough to make your ears bleed! 😰

I don't mind it. I think it's sweet.

I may be unusual by mumsnet standards but have never been able to give a stuff what words other people use tbh. Life's too short to care about something so harmless.
