So I have given a deposit to a hair stylist for a trial for my daughters wedding. The date for the trial has yet to be arranged because she didn't get back to me - that was 3 weeks ago! We had exchanged a fair few emails regularly before I sent over the £50 deposit and have heard nothing since. I have emailed and called, but no answer and no reply! I have an address to check out next but if I still have no luck do I report to the police? Either something has happened to her - business collapsed or something, or she's totally ripped me off. I've left messages asking for the deposit back but still nothing. It seemed liked a genuine stylist - website and Facebook and everything. It may not seem like a lot of money to some but I'm not willing to let it go. I need the money to arrange another stylist.
