Do nearly 3yo LGs ever stop whining?

Mine's still whining and turns 4 next week.....

Mine is still whining and she's 26.

Mine’s 5.5. If anything it’s got worse.

Is this a girl thing? two friends of mine who have girls, always complain of their dds whining. I've heard it myself and cant stand it. glad to have a boy, I'm not sure I have heard boys whining.

My eldest boy whined too. As does my girl (and she is 15 and still whines).

youngest boy, not so much.

Mine never whined. She never stopped talking from the moment she got up to the minute she went to bed though.

My 4 year old lg doesn't whine but the talking is absolutely relentless.

My almost 3 DS whinges constantly. Nothing is every right for him and it drives me insane!

Boys don't whine? If only...

I second the talking... And singing... And questions!!!

My 7yo boy has been whining for at least 4 years now.

Mine was a very happy active toddler. DS on the other hand...

Can confirm, definitely not. Almost 3 yr old boy. Some days, The. Whining. Is. RELENTLESS.

DS is four in a couple of months. His whinging has got a lot better in the last couple of months (he’s still a stroppy bugger though). Before that, between around 3.2 - 3.8 his whinging was incessant! About everything and nothing. He even whinged about things that he wasn’t unhappy about.

It's a child thing.

There are definitely phases. But when they're in one of those phases it feels like it's all they've ever done!

My 3yo LG is a very happy little soul, who sings, dances, talks and whines constantly from dawn until dusk!!!!

My 7 yo BOY is King of the Whiners. He started his career at 3.

Hate hearing whiners and whiners! Cured all mine of it quick sharp by saying, "Mummy can't hear that whiny voice. Tell me in your real voice." And then I listened.

Doesn't work on moany old men though!

My little girl was a screamer of epic proportions till she was a small toddler but when the screaming stopped it was not replaced with whining. She’s nearly 5 now and very rarely whines.

Of the whiners I know, most of them are boys.
