To ask for your experiences with CM/Nursery and cloth nappies?

Has anyone had a CM/Nursery/pre school refuse them?

I want to use them but don’t want to go for the initial cost and then have CM/Nursery refuse to use them. Everyone I know that uses them is a SAHM so any advice welcome!!

My children have been in cloth nappies in 3 nurseries, and none had a problem. I sent in easy to use nappies (ready stuffed pockets or similar that went on all in one piece, no pins/nippas needed) and a wet bag.

I didn’t expect them to sort poo out, I either used disposable liners and asked them to dispose of the liner in the same way as they did baby wipes, or asked them to wrap the whole soiled nappy up and I would sort at home (not to be gross, but I found with one of my children her poos were easier to deal with once they had dried a little).

I found the nurseries were grateful to reduce their waste (it costs a lot to have the clinical waste collected). One of the staff members commented how cloth had changed since her day (pinned terries and plastic pants).

I used them with my two youngest

Ooops
Sent too soon

Mine went to a CM and it was absolutely fine. They took the liner out and disposed of it and sent the wet nappies home for me to wash. Actually DH did all the nappy washing and drying Smile

They were absolutely great. I have happy memories of those cute nappies out on the washing line.
