Caribbean and zika

Posting here for traffic! Sorry if this question has been asked before.
My DH and I are ttc and we have been invited to a wedding in the Caribbean (Dominican Republic) in May next year. The CDC say that there is a low risk of zika outbreak. Would you go?
It is a close friend of my husband's so he is keen but obviously not wanting to risk anything.
We have been trying for 2 years though with one miscarriage so definitely don't want to create any more problems, but at the same time we are against putting things off for obvious reasons. Tricky one! Any advice from anyone who has researched zika or has been in a similar situation would be much appreciated! Thanks.

(Work for an airline)
DR is definitely low risk - have been a few times in the past year and am pregnant with DC no signs of zika.

I went to India when I was about 4 weeks pg and was worried about malaria/zika asked my doc and he was saying low risk is low risk.

it’s your own preference entirely basically.

Sorry it’s not the best advice but hope it helps somewhat :)
