A mate of mine phoned me up yesterday to inform me that he has got scabies. I went to see him five weeks ago and stayed at his place so he felt he ought to warn me. Apparently the incubation period is up to eight weeks. He suggested I see the doctor, but I can't find anything online to suggest there is anything preventative that can be done. (I have no signs of it.)
