Made it at the start of August. No response yet

Oldraver · 15/09/2019 15:43

I had a text to say it's being looked into

DrizzleKicks · 15/09/2019 15:44

I did one on MIL's behalf, no response yet. Not expecting one for a while.

TigerBreadAddict · 15/09/2019 15:46

I made 4.
1 immediate response-this product didn’t have PPI
1 response after about 2 weeks - your address has changed and we will do a credit check to verify your identity
2 - no response yet

Jbraise · 15/09/2019 15:47

Cool . Did one for my gdad’s Halifax mortgage but no response yet

Halifax were quite good, although I applied in June. They called and took some details and then let us know we were owed £1300.

siriusblackthemischieviouscat · 15/09/2019 15:56

I mads three two days before the deadline and heard nothing from them.

Plump82 · 15/09/2019 16:28

I work in a bank and we had literally thousands and thousands of last minute claims so i can only guess you might be in a large queue!

tigerbear · 15/09/2019 16:30

Made mine back in January and nothing at all yet!! Hmm

abbey44 · 15/09/2019 16:46

I made my claim a few weeks before the deadlines, and I've heard back that I'm getting.....£35 Grin

I'm making a list of what I'm going to squander it on.

FabLaura · 15/09/2019 17:15

I made a claim a few weeks before the deadline and got back an acknowledgement that my form was completed correctly and that the two banks have them. Was told to expect the next update before October

lavenderbluedilly · 15/09/2019 17:20

I made about 5 - three have said they are looking into it and will get bank to me within 8 weeks (RBS, M&S and the one that covers Next Directory). The others haven’t replied (MBNA, Toyota Finance).

Dowser · 15/09/2019 17:24

I got it’s being looked into

GinNotGym19 · 15/09/2019 17:34

There was thousands upon thousands of last minute claims, all the banks have put aside many extra millions to cover the last minute burst of applications. I’d expect it’s gonna take a while to hear back.

LIZS · 15/09/2019 17:39

Letter from one apologising for delay but they are still looking, nothing from other yet.

pistolknight · 15/09/2019 17:53

Sent a load for a relative last minute for all the ones that could remember ever having - really last minute, Barclays and mbna have responded already. I think they have 6 weeks to reply

Millie2013 · 15/09/2019 17:55

I did a few for my mum, the night of the deadline, because of a confusion (I thought she’d already done them)
Nothing from any of them yet

PolaDeVeboise · 15/09/2019 18:23

@lavenderbluedilly, can you tell me when you sent your request to RBS and also if you did it via the website? I filled in details mid-August and didn't receive an acknowledgement at the time and haven't had a reply :(

lavenderbluedilly · 15/09/2019 18:31

Pola I sent it via the website on 7th August and received the response on 28th August - my account was with Ulster Bank so it was through their website, but the response was from RBS, their umbrella organisation

Poppins2016 · 15/09/2019 18:33

Yep.

Barclaycard - I've had a response.

Lloyds - no response yet.

beluga425 · 15/09/2019 19:28

I did one online about a week before and got a response last week. They have 8 weeks to respond.

Makemeaname · 15/09/2019 19:31

I would expect an acknowledgement but no actual response, other than potentially "you had no PPI" for at least 2 months. FCA gives them 8 weeks to deal with complaints, banks are all snowed under so will probably take even longer than that.

Jbraise · 16/09/2019 10:38

Had responses from Halifax on mortgage and Lloyd’s 6 credit cards and 7 loans . Here back on final decision by 10th Oct. wonder how much is owed!
