Inspired by another thread I want to ask if anyone has deadpan blagged or bluffed their way out of an embarrassing situation.

Mine is starting first year of Uni and accidentally sitting in the wrong class. Rather than make my excuses and leave, I let the tutor go round the class till it got to me and explained what reasons I had for choosing to study 3rd year advanced Buddhism (I was an eng lit student).

I also got lost in my hometown once and was so embarrassed (for no real reason) tht I put on a French accent to ask directions, rather than admit to being from area.

I know, I'm weird

French accent Grin I finished my gcse's in school and then went to college to do my a-levels but accidentally enrolled in the GCSE classes for all my chosen subjects … so rather than telling the student enrolment services I had fucked up I studied GCSE law, psychology, sociology, maths and media Hmm
