To think what the hell is going on these days?

I've seen something I never expected to see.

So I took my DS 9 to the local skate park on Sunday, and on the first 'ramp' there is a box area, where a lot of kids rest and sitdown, however what I didn't expect to see is a lad about 12 blowing vapour like a bloody chimney! Where the hell do parents stand with discipline these days?

Its rife around here. And apparently that isn't vaping fluid they're vaping either..

I remember walking to primary school and seeing other primary school children smoking cigarettes. I doubt children making bad choices is a brand new phenomenon.

I can understand the 14 year olds might want it as a 'vice of rebellion' but when does a 12 year old need nicotine sometimes stronger then a real fag?

@Diagonalli sorry for drip feeding, but the kids were talking about 'the strength in that juice', if that isn't nicotine I dread what it could be...

I dunno. I’ve just watched a video of a 12-18ish month old licking a bit of their parents wasabi and saying ‘help!’ - bless. The comments on the video ranged from it being child abuse to how as parents we should respect when our children say no (the child said no when her mum asked if she wanted to try some, twice but then asked for wasabi before opening her mouth and licking some) and obviously kids say no to a lot so that would be lots of kids sitting about in shitty nappies and not eating much healthy stuff/ staying in the park/ soft play until 9pm at night 😅.

To how that child will now have trust issues.

There seems to be no balance- people love parenting other peoples kids it seems.

Unfortunately around here its a mixture of much harder stuff including cannabis and spice. Really shocking.
