AIBU for just wanting what’s due?

I have a claim with the CMS and since July I haven’t been receiving the correct amount.
Ex states he hasn’t had a letter. Every week I’ve called the CMS and begged them to send out this letter. Last week they finally told me they had.
Today, wrong payment again so I’ve been on the phone again. Now I’ve been told “there’s something going on in the back ground which we can’t disclose, it will be sorted in a couple of weeks and we’ll address his arrears”!

I am aware they are taking some kind of arrears from him on a monthly basis to the total of £700 a month. I don’t know where these are going or what they’re for but they are to the tune of around £4000.

Could this be the reason they aren’t dealing with my case?

F you know for a fact that the money is being taken by CMS, could there be another child he’s paying for? (How do you know what money is being taken?)

He’s shown me a screen shot from his portal. Shows as collect and pay and the amount. My claim sits beneath, direct pay.
He has an older child whose 22 now, CSA was cancelled for him back in 2002!

He showed me the screen shot back in June as he thought it was coming to me but I haven’t received anything.

Only other thing is an illegitimate child I don’t know about but considering he had the snip back in 2009 then I’m not sure that’s the case.

I just don’t see why my kids get put in the back burner whilst they sort this mystery issue out.
