Posting here for traffic a bit early for the Halloween season but here goes i have read all the threads on here so come forth with your spooky woo tales.

Bumping for this mornings crowd.

I haven’t got one, but I love hearing others!

Never too early for Halloween 😁 when I was about 12 I saw our next door neighbour on the drive, walked past him, even said hello, then I relaised he had been dead two weeks and I freaked out ALOT! As an adult I refuse to believe in ghosts though, probably because I was so scared then 😁

I’ll share mine although it’s really my sister & brother in laws! They moved into a new house about 2 years ago - the lady they had bought it from had lived there with her husband for 50+ years until he’d recently died. They had loads of boxes in the spare room to unpack and eventually got round to unpacking one day - opened up a box and right at the top we’re a couple of old black & white photographs of people standing in front of their house! Now this box was sellotaped shut and had been packed in their old flat and not opened till the new house so no way the photos would of gotten in. They think it was the old man just wanting them to see who’d lived there previously.

My house was built in 1892 so obviously people have died in it.
We have a ghost who moves laundry around and can be seen on the stairs. A slim lady in grey.
I was once in tears over unpaid bills and rent after i lost my job and i heard a voice saying it will be all right. And it was. Soon after i got my dream job and was granted a discretionary housing payment to clear my rent arrears. My backdated benefits also came through that week. Make of it what you will but i believe in the afterlife.
I have also seen the spirits of pets that have passed.
I m not scared of our ghost and dc have grown up with her.
We call her Laura the laundry lady and she s a very comforting presence.
