What to wear?? (clueless grad)

I'm embarrassed I'm even asking this question (should be obvious). In a couple of weeks I'm starting a grad scheme. The first few days will involve induction events in a European city. I'm assuming they'll be talks etc (will also be attending a summit).

What do I wear for this??

Formal business wear or casual clothes? I dread being over or underdressed

Would you take go!ng out clothes? Or will people be too tired to go out at night?

Sorry for the barrage of questions. I'm clueless and desperate to get off to a good start.

I would wear smart black trousers and a shirt. Take a jacket so you can be more formal if needed. Does depend on the industry though, if its banking or legal then definitely formal.

I’d get in touch and ask actually, given that it’s for a few days.
I’d probably pack a couple of slightly going out tops. I’m sure you’ll go out, it just may be straight from work stuff with no chance to change.

If you have a couple of nice smart dresses, I don’t think you can go wrong. I have certain work dresses that aren’t either smart or casual, they are both. And I wear them in the daytime and the evening. And you can wear them with a blazer or a smart cardigan if you need to.

Cigarette pants are smart with flats for daytime & heels for evening. Blouse or shirt for day, cami top with a fake leather jacket (check out Zara £29.99 jkts) or a pretty throw/wrap/shawl for evening. Dress up evening with costume jewelry, voila!
